Your duties

  • Responsibility for the integration, optimization and extension of IT components and IT processes in IAM area

  • Responsibility for configuration, implementation and operation of IAM related products

  • Analyses of running system environment concerning optimization and security measures

  • Support of further international teams in connecting to the IAM systems

  • Supervise external consultants and developer during defect analysis and enhancements

  • Communication and trainings for user communities

  • Cooperation with the expert team Identity- and Access management

  • Documentation and presentation of results in expert circles

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree (or higher) of Computer Science/Business Informatics or comparable qualification

  • Min. 5 years of professional work experience in comparable position and experience in IT project management

  • Knowledge of IT compliance requirements

  • Ability to analyze and optimize complex hierarchical structures in rights and roles concepts

  • Preparation of system internal logs to optimize and stabilize the provisioning processes

  • Skills in Micro Focus tools (Access Manager, Advanced Authentication) as well as Certificate Management and MS Active Directory, Azure Active Directory

  • Skills using the protocols SAML, OAuth

  • Strong team spirit and organizational strength, assertiveness, self-assured appearance, pronounced communicative abilities

  • Fluent in spoken and written English, German

When data transmission at one of the more than 200 sites in the Evonik network breaks down, Michael and his colleagues in WAN Incident Management are called upon to track down the cause and arrange for it to be remedied.
