Deine Aufgaben

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Empower users with hands-on support and advanced training, swiftly addressing and resolving service escalations with a customer-centric approach.

    • Guiding users with requests through our Evonik internal standards and which one to use.

    • Analyze and synthesize data to forge innovative solutions, adeptly navigating a broad spectrum of processes, procedures, and precedents to guide decision-making.

    • Deploy your specialized technical knowledge to efficiently manage and resolve high-level escalations and requests, serving as a key escalation point for service providers.

    • Stay at the forefront of technological innovation and industry trends through continuous learning, participating in key conferences, and engaging with thought leaders.

    • Develop, maintain, and refine comprehensive documentation for systems, procedures, and processes, keeping information current and accessible.

    • Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional technology teams to establish clear IT standards, deliver strategic projects, and enhance overall service offerings.

    • Collaborate as a dynamic member of the international "Server Team," contributing to a range of tasks and projects at both local and global scales within the group.

Dein Profil

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Complete Higher Education in the area of Information Technology or Bachelor's degree in other areas with specialization in the area of Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

    • Demonstrated expertise in managing sophisticated enterprise server ecosystems, encompassing OS optimization, virtualization technologies, automation frameworks, event monitoring, and fortifying cybersecurity measures.

    • In-depth experience with innovative infrastructure solutions, including Cisco UCS Servers and NetApp data management hardware, ensuring robust and scalable storage capabilities.

    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and VMware ESXi, displaying a strong command over essential server management and virtualization platforms.

    • A solid understanding of cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure), data protection strategies with Rubrik backup solutions

    • A track record of successful project involvement, from planning and execution to process optimization.

    • Flexibility to undertake occasional business travel, both domestically and internationally, to support global operations and strategic initiatives.

    • Commitment to participate in a rotational on call 12x7 shift schedule monthly, maintaining high availability and responsive support channels.

    • Adaptability to thrive in a hybrid work model, effectively balancing remote and in-office responsibilities to meet dynamic organizational needs.

    • Exceptional bilingual communication skills, with fluency in both Portuguese and English, facilitating clear and impactful exchanges in diverse professional settings.

    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a self-directed manner, offering technical guidance, articulating ideas, prompting action, and developing strategies or policies, as necessary.
