Project Manager/Scrum Master

Successfully implement IT projects

As an IT Project Manager, you are the interface between IT and our business units and bear the triple responsibility: for planning, execution and goal achievement in complex and international projects. You are the first point of contact: you understand the business unit's requirements and translate them into technical requirements and goals. In doing so, you coordinate all employees and functions involved and ensure that the projects are realized "in scope, time, and budget".

At Evonik, we carry out around 300 IT projects of various kinds every year. The changeover to the new SAP technology S/4HANA, our Sustainability Data Management project, the Cyber Security Resilience Program, the introduction of integrated business planning, or the improved integration of our own Community Platform Connections into the Microsoft Office 365 world are just a few examples. For our exciting projects we are looking for passionate project managers who prepare and execute our projects professionally. Look forward to challenging IT projects paired with exciting future technologies in an agile, international and diverse team!

Working across three time zones, organizing the necessary IT resources, keeping IT management up to date, and sometimes lending a hand herself to get a feel for the technical tasks: That's what Alex's day-to-day work as an IT project manager looks like. As project leader, she is currently responsible for ensuring that the hardware at all Evonik sites worldwide is brought up to a uniformly modern standard. The IT systems engineer acquired the necessary expertise in project management through continuing education. "I enjoy project management, and the support of my superiors has enabled me to develop in this direction," says Alex.
